5 Methods to Keep Visitors Returning to Your
Site
The biggest concern for Internet
Marketers or anyone marketing online is traffic. Obviously,
if no one comes to your site or your affiliate sites,
you're not going to sell anything. Therefore, you will not
earn any income.
In fact, a low number of visitors is just
about as bad as no visitors, as far as financial prosperity
goes. Now, the key is to not only get more visitors, but
to not let any previous visitors slip away. You work
hard to get them, so it makes very little sense to not
try to hold on to them. You want them coming back
again and again.
If you have a content site, you obviously
want people to revisit as much as possible in order to keep
your offers in front of them.
Here are 5 methods you should use to keep
visitors coming back to your site again and
again:
1. Have a newsletter
On your site, you should have a
newsletter sign up form prominently displayed along with an
offer for some kind of a freebie. When people subscribe to
your newsletter, you can stay in contact with them, as
they have opted-in to allow you to send them emails.
You should then provide them with great content they
can use.
2. Keep updating your site
If there's never anything new for your
visitors to see, there's no sense in them coming back to
your site. Always make it a point to add fresh
content regularly.
3. Use give-aways
Give-aways can be anything, such as
gifts, coupons, tickets, articles, ebooks, or whatever.
People are curious, so try the "mystery gift" give-away.
People will come back to your site just to see what it
is.
4. Use games
Games on your site may make people want
to come back repeatedly to play. This is a great way to
make people addicted to your site.
5. Take polls
People love to give their opinion. So, if
you want to know what people think about your site, just
ask them. They'll come to your site just to fill out the
opinion form. This method has a second benefit - it allows
you to make improvements to your site or newsletter
based on public opinion.
Conclusion
Traffic is the name of the game when it
comes to marketing online and earning income.
You work hard to get traffic to your
site. You may even buy advertising in the way of pay per
click or ezine advertising. So, to get the most from
your investments, the key is to not let anyone come to
your site without giving them a reason to want to
come back.
